They sold their CDs via 1-800 numbers, when they were country music. They were brothers who made country music when they were young kids, and had a semi-popular pop song in the late 90s.
I think it was a Canadian group called the Moffatts.
I would like to give some kind of country music collection as a gift to my dad, but I’m not a fan and not really familiar.
I would like some classic, old golden-era style country as well as contemporary top artists (maybe even Taylor Swift, but probably something better quality wise) and everything in between.
So I would like a collection of authentic country both modern and old.
Please give some artists

It’s by a male country music star- I saw a video a long time ago with soldiers returning home, and the daughters all run out to meet them. The whole video takes place on a base (I think, can’t fully remember). I forgot the name, but it’s a good father-daughter video.
it could also be I’m Already There by Lonestar
I am currently writing an essay about how music industry has changed. I am not a country music enthusiast, so I really dont know what has changed in this genre. I thought one change may be the shift from old school country to the newer sounding rock-country music. If you can add more insight that would be helpful
…..well George Strait and Alan Jackson said it best in the song "Murder On Music Row".this line sort of sums it up…………………
"For the steel guitars no longer cry, and the fiddles barley play.
But drums and rock’n'roll guitars,Are mixed up in your face"
Country music has died. The replacement "progressive-alternative-bubblegum pop".

What song when you heard it,made you once and for all fall in love with country music? You can name more than one!
None. I was raised on country music.
COUNTRY music, not that rock/pop garbage they’re trying to pass off as "country" today.
A parody country music song with hints of the bizarre! Video looks like it could be made with a version of the Sims? either way, a very funny song. “Im my own Grandpa” by Ray Stephens.
I find it funny that some people are still going off about how this isnt about Incest (which it obviously isnt, I did it on PURPOSE!). Kinda makes you wonder doesnt it? they almost seem upset that it isnt about that at all. Ah well, enjoy the song!
