Is there a way to burn music CDs that can play in cars that cannot play mp3s?

When you burn music onto a CD-R, the songs are still in mp3 format. How do you burn the music so that the CD doesn’t become a mp3 CD but rather, in a format like a regular CD you can buy in stores? I hope this question isn’t too confusing.

burn it with nero!
in nero window u will have options in "burn cd" section and it will look something like this: burn an mp3 cd and burn an audio cd.
if u dont have mp3 capable cd player, then go with the second option!

Yes, there is a little program called "MP3 to WAV" (or something to that effect). If you type "MP3 to WAV" in Google.com you should find it. I did and it works!

I don’t know what you use to burn music but I use either iTunes or Real One Player. They automatically convert any format to .cda which all cd players use. iTunes has an option to convert to .mp3 or .cda format

You don’t need to go anywhere hunting for a software to convert mp3 to wav format.Windows already has this feature.Simply follow the steps below:

    1. right click on the song you want to write and send it to the E:/ drive(CD drive). You can approximately write about 18 songs on a regular CD.
2.a bubble will pop out on the lower right corner in the toolbar saying that the songs are ready to be written.Click on the bubble and a new window will open showing all the songs.
3.insert a empty CD in the drive.
4.click on the option on the top left menu to write or burn the songs. You will be prompted giving you 2 options first to make an audio CD and the other to make an mp3 disc.select the audio cd option and the window media player will open and the cd will start burning.
    Best of Luck.
