How do I wipe and put new music onto my old ipod?

I got a new ipod a little while ago, replacing my old nano. I put all my music onto my new one, and a heap more, so the amount that is on my new ipod, is too much to all go onto my old one.
My dad now wants my old ipod with his music on it. How do i wipe all of my old music off my old ipod, and put his music onto it?

Just connect the old ipod to the computer and open iTunes. Wait for iTunes to see your device, then go to music under the old ipod. Go to edit and select all, then delete. Files in the old ipod will be erased. Gather all the music of your dad in one folder and then go to file and choose add folder to library. Then go to the main music tab located above the ipod device and choose all the music you want to load. When all the music has been selected, drag it to the old ipod icon.

Peace!
