How do I convince my parents to let me go to a night club?
Im 16 and very responsible. My friends have been going to this night club where there are nights just for 16-20 year olds (so no drinking). The only problem my parents have is that its a half hour drive and they dont want me out that late that far away. If there was one closer they say they would let me go.
Do you guys have any idea how i could convince them to let me go?

you should ask them to sleep over at your friends house and then just go. Its not really lying. just stretching. If you can’t, prove to them that it’s safe and you’re responsible enough. Introduce you’re nicest, safest friend who can drive you there. Have all your friends convince them. OR have them all at your house at once and then have them leave to the night club and make them feel bad about it.

Do not lie to your parents. Unfortunately if they say no then that usually means no and the best thing you can do is honour their wishes. If you were to lie about your whereabouts you run the risk of losing their trust completely and as a result then may stop you going out altogether. You are only 16 and whether drinking is involved or not is irrelevant, they only have your best interests at heart. They don’t sound as though they are being unreasonable, as they have stated that they would not mind if it was closer. Maybe you and your friends could organise a night out somewhere closer to home and your parents might be happy for you to go when you are a little older. Show you are a mature young adult and obey what they say and they may just loosen their reigns abit and allow you to go.
