Aaron Tippin — Country Music Singer — American Patriot

Aaron Tippin — Country Music Singer — American Patriot

Tippin began performing in local honky tonks in the 1970’s. He competed on the TNN show “You Can Be A Star” in 1985 landed a songwriter’s contract and moved to Music City in 86. Always a focused and purposeful man, Aaron created a work routine that was spartan in it’s intensity. He worked the midnight shift at a factory in Kentucky, commuted to Music Row to write songs, did his late afternoon strength training, went to bed, got up and did the whole routine over again, day after day. The dedication paid off. He won barbell competitions, and Charley Pride, David Ball, Mark Collie and others recorded his songs.

Tippin performed his first Nashville nightclub show in 1990, and it earned him a contract with RCA. His ambitious first single “You’ve Got to Stand for Something” cracked the Top 10 in 1991, and 1992’s “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With the Radio” stayed at No. 1 for three weeks. Tippin scored string of Top 10 hits for RCA. (In all, he charted 19 songs for the label.) Five of his RCA albums went gold and one platinum. He moved to Lyric Street in 1998 and charted a No. 1 with the raucous “Kiss This” (co-written with wife Thea) in 2000.

In the wake of 9/11, his patriotic anthem “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly” touched a nation. Performing for Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan has become a tradition for Aaron. The past several years during the Thanksgiving holiday, he and band have traveled for the purpose of performing for our brave soldiers. “Every time we go over there they always tell me what a blessing it is for me to come and perform for them,” says Tippin. “It’s more of a blessing for me than they’ll ever know.” While touring in the U.S., Tippin regularly donates his time performing for charities and special events that honor the U.S. military. He is also the spokesman for the Paralyzed Veterans of America and for the Armed Services YMCA.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Aaron puts as much time and energy into planning his live shows today, as he did back in 1985 when he just wanted to be heard. The Hit filled concert is constantly changing and evolving into a fresh show each year for the audience’s. Fans love the music and appreciate Aaron’s friendly nature in always taking time to meet each one of them after every show. Concert promoter’s are always surprised by his hard work ethic and willingness to assist in interview’s, radio station contest’s and concert marketing.

On top of being one of the greatest performers to hit the country music scene, Aaron also has many other talents. He became a commercial pilot at the age of 17. He owns 4 planes and is also a helicopter pilot. He is an avid hunter and spends personal time with his boys, teaching them how to hunt, fish and enjoy the great outdoors.

And don’t think his talents end there, you can add welder, truck driver, body builder, and wine maker to the list. Yes wine maker! Aaron has his own winery and is constantly creating different types of wine. He and Thea love to visit wineries when he has time off.

Hits include:
You’ve Got to Stand for Something”
“There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With the Radio”
“I Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way”
“My Blue Angel”
“Working Man’s P.H.D.”
“The Call of the Wild”
“Whole Lotta Love On The Line”.
“I Got It Honest”
“She Feels Like a Brand New Man Tonight”
“That’s As Close As I’ll Get To Loving You”
“For You I Will”
“Kiss This”
“Where the Stars and Stripes and Eagle Fly”
