What do I do with an outdoor wedding ceremony and music?

February 2nd, 2010 admin Leave a comment Go to comments

I am having my wedding ceremony outdoors on the front porch of my family’s home. It is a beautiful spot, but how do I incorporate music? I don’t want to hire a band or anything. Is it ok to play a cd?

That’s what I’m doing – playing a CD!! xx

Put together a CD of meaningful songs and it will be beautiful.

For my wedding I made a cd of songs that meant something to us and our relationship.. I then made copies of the cd to give out to all the guests as favors. Everyone seemed to enjoy it :)

    Yes, it’s perfectly fine.
You could even have surround sound speakers set up, so that the music is all around y’all

i think a cd would be fine.

now, i know you said you don’t want to hire a band, but if you have a local philharmonic orchestra, sometimes they will hire out a string quartet by the hour. i got married in oklahoma city and paid only around $100 for an hour or so of lovely music. just a thought.

    Congratulations!
